ESTONIAN SKATEBOARDER OF THE YEAR 2017
The fifth annual Estonian Skateboarder of The Year took place in February of 2018 at a venue called Sveta. For the first time the event hosted a small skateboarding competition on an old writing desk. Some good skateboarding happened and a bit after midnight the Estonian Skateboarder of The Year was announced: Raul Urberg. Congratulations!

PROSPECTS FOR KOLDE PST. SMALLFORMS
The Estonian Skateboarding Association has renewed the annual contract with Northern Tallinn Administration regarding the skatable smallforms at Pelgulinn Square. Although the original contract had a clause stating that the smallforms should be removed by the end of 2017, Estonian Skateboarding Association has managed to make a deal with the local administration and the smallforms will stay at Pelgulinn Square permanently.
FUTURE SKATEPARKS OF TALLINN
For the past two years in co-operation with NPO Linnasilm we have planned, designed and consulted on the topic of concrete skateparks for the City of Tallinn and Tallinn Sports and Youth Organization. In 2018 three new concrete skateparks (Koidu st. 112, Kivila st. 19a, E. Vilde tee 69) will emerge in Tallinn. The final touch-ups and planning details were given to Kauss architects.

TALLINN SKATEBOARDING DAY 2017
The first official Tallinn Skateboarding Day will take place on July 22 at 1 pm. We will meet up at Freedom square to participate in a group ride, with Kolde ave. smallforms square as the destination. At Kolde we will have some non-formal skateboarding competitions, good music and something to eat and drink. The first official Tallinn Skateboarding Day in supported by Tallinn Sports and Youth Department, Hartwall Jaffa and Surfhouse skatehop.

ESTONIAN SKATEBOARDING ASSOCIATION JOINS THE ESTONIAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEE
The Estonian Olympic Committee recognizes the effort put in by the Estonian Skateboarding Association to improve local urban sports possibilities and thus is confident in our ability to represent Estonians in the Olympics.

ESTONIAN SKATEBOARDING ASSOCIATION JOINS ISF
The Estonian Skateboarding Association has officialy joined the International Skateboarding Federation. ISF has recognized ESA-s efforts in raising awareness for the local skateboarding community, while also doing as much as possible to push the skateboarding culture forward. The Estonian skaters are also a step closer to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games, since the ESA will be representing and governing all local Olympic skateboarding efforts.
ESTONIAN SKATER OF THE YEAR 2016
Skateboarding and lifestyle magazine Kataloog in co-operation with the Estonian Skateboarding Association will once again make their pick for the Estonian Skateboarder of the Year! The event will take place on February 3rd at Speakeasy by Põhjala bar. Keep updated with the event here.
KOLDE PST. SMALLFORMS
The skatable smallforms square was completed at the end of October, residing in Kolde avenue at the Pelgulinn district of Tallinn.
SKOONE SKEIDIKUNN 2016
July 30th marked the first urban sports event at Skoone bastion. Called "Skoone skeidikunn", the event formed a duality in it's concept, consisting of a best trick competition and a downhill speedrun.
GO SKATEBOARDING DAY TALLINN 2016
July 21st was the first official celebration of the "Go Skateboarding Day" event in Estonia. The event took place in Tallinn with a unified ride through the city and ending with a small competition at Telliskivi Creative City.
